I can picture the Master barging in on the Doctor, disregarding any plans he had to torment the Doctor with his death and holding Grover out like... TAKE HIM AWAY. And lovable little Doctor Grover would want a hug before the Master could make his escape. And a song. And possibly to not read the Monster at the End of the Book. Dude, I can picture the Master tormenting him with that...
