Okay, since I really haven't posted any writings in a while, I figure I might as well give you some head canon.  narwhale_callin did this Five Things meme, so I figure I might as well steal it.

Pick any character from Doctor Who, and I'll tell you the top 5 things my headcanon says are true about them.

I'm actually going to go ahead and open it up to other fandoms as well.  Doctor Who, Babylon 5, Firefly, Middleman, Torchwood, and any of the animes on my fic list (including Ronin Warriors/YST, which isn't on my fic list, but I am totally not ashamed to admit to be a hard core fan of) are open to chose from.  Also, any of the Tales Of games and any Final Fantasy below X.  I have the feeling most of my flist will stick with Who though.  If I don't know the character, I'm sure I can make some stuff up.

If you want to ask for more than one character, go ahead and put them in the same comment.  I can separate them later.  Plus, then Nar won't have a reason to spam me the way I spammed her.  XD  I have the feeling this won't stop her, but hey. 

Fair warning, I can be quite mad at times.  You won't always get completely sane answers.

The Brigadier

1. This has been mentioned in several of my fics, but the TARDIS totally has a crush on the Brigadier. He is not quite sure what to do with the time machine's affection, but he accepts it gracefully after a month or so of complete disbelief that the TARDIS is alive.

2. He has twice used only his eyebrows to save the universe. If someone could find a way to do it, it would be him or Spock. (EDIT: Actually, an eyebrow war between him and Spock would be EPIC.)

3. He did not, in fact, die. This is just some terrible misunderstanding on Doris' part. He was kidnapped by alien resistant leaders who needed his help and had his life elongated when they freed their world. He now acts as an adviser to the new queen and the Doctor stumbles across him after a few years and they travel the universe together. Either that, or Persephone returned to renew their epic love and turned him into a god along side her. I could totally ship that.

4. He is the long distant ancestor of Bret Vyon and Sarah Kingdom. They were the last of the Lethbridge-Stewart clan, sadly, but in an alternate universe they both survived and made the Brigadier quite proud.

5. He has met and worked with every single regeneration of the Doctor, and has had an encounter every regeneration of the Master. The Brigadier hasn't always known it, but he's made quite an impact on both of them. <3

Shalka Doctor

1. Shalka Doctor's favorite food is Spoo, and he delights in forcing it on everyone, including the Master who can't stand it.

2. He also has a pet Tribble, which he keeps well hidden from the Master and any food source. (Shalka Doctor is apparently my Doctor for random crossover details)

3. Shalka Doctor and Shalka Master have a hidden prank contest going on. No one realizes it, not even Allison, but they secretly substitute various substances for sugar in their tea and rearrange wires/books/rooms just to annoy each other.

4. He forgets to eat. Frequently. And sleep. The Master has to occasionally lock him in the closet with food and a pillow in order to remember.

5. He's a closet roleplayer, of the kind that constantly needs a good whack with the cluebat. His DM usually ends the night extremely frustrated with the Doctor.

TENTH DOCTOR!

Ten

1. Ten has a terrible poker face. In fact, he lost a star cruiser and mansion that he didn't even own in a game once, and had to high tail it out of there before they realized he couldn't pay up. He really should have been concentrating on bluffing his hand rather than bluffing his ante.

2. Ten says he hates cats, but really, he's just a bit softy when it comes to them. Even when they get fur all over his coat. He's just trying to annoy the Master by saying he doesn't like cats.

3. (Taken from Tennant) He wears socks with the day of the week on them. It's not always the right day, but it's got to be the right day somewhere. He never wears his Monday or Tuesday socks though.

4. He once had an epic three-day romance with Aphra Behn and he was the reason she ended up in prison.

5. He stands in lines at conventions to get autographs like the little fanboy he is, and gushes over each person. Donna was the only one who asked him why he couldn't just meet the person regularly like he does the rest of history, and he responded that it was the principle of the thing.

1. She did not take escapology classes. She was trained as a ninja while she visited Japan, and she secretly uses that knowledge to escape all bonds.

2. At one point, she accidentally stows away on an alien ship once and then hitchhikes across the galaxy, providing aid to alien protesters who she feels are doing The Right Thing. The Master finds her protesting one of his laboratories and he takes her home back to her husband.

3. Thursdays are her least favorite days, because the Doctor is always crankier on Thursdays. He claims that he always used to skip them.

4. She once put a really spicy pepper in her sandwich, just to get revenge on the Doctor. He learned to check all the sandwiches he stole from her after it.

5. She once told the Master off while he was in one of his disguises for ruining her jacket. She kicked him out of UNIT HQ before he could do whatever he was plotting without even knowing it was him. He was not pleased with her, and made sure her wardrobe got a moth infestation. Sadly, by this point, she was already moving to South America to study mushrooms, so she never noticed.

Ian Chesterton

1. He and Barbara get married and live happily ever after. End of story. There is no disputing this.

2. He keeps a diary of everyone who mispronounces his name. The Doctor has his own chapter. One day, he will have his vengeance, but until then it helps him keep calm.

3. He and Barbara have two daughters, one of which is named Susan.

4. Knowing that the Beatles would eventually become 'classical music,' Ian wisely started investing in Beatles memorabilia. He and Barbara made quite a mint later on in life by selling some of it, the rest he has kept safe for his daughter's college funds. Rest assured, they are well off.

5. Like the Ponds, they leave an open seat for all major holidays, just in case. The Doctor does occasionally drop in (especially when he was exiled to Earth) and Ian has taken him aside to thank him for 'kidnapping' both him and Barbara and helping him find his true love. <3

THE FACE OF BOE!

1. The Face of Boe is a little like the Wizard of Oz. Jack was permanently crippled some how that his healing factor doesn't compensate for, and he controls the Face of Boe from behind the curtain using his brain waves.

2. The Face of Boe really hated being pregnant. It really shouldn't have tried it again.

3. The gas in the containment glass is just for show. Jack thinks it makes him look mysterious and he likes it.

4. The Master visits the Face of Boe every so often, usually without either of them recognizing each other. He keeps trying to find out the massively important secret that the Face of Boe is supposed to tell to a lonely god. XD Because obviously, it's something important and summon-able.

5. He has a happy dance that is just his face moving that no one has ever seen.

Hm, without spoilers...

1. Mr. Garibaldi is a long time baseball fan, but he hates the Dodgers. This is because he's never forgiven them for the move to LA in the 50's, even though that was over two hundred years ago. Also, they beat his favorite team when his father took him to a game when he was five.

2. He is actually a history nerd, but doesn't like to admit it. So instead, he focuses on trivia and other fun things to make it seem less nerdy (his grandmother's gun, the motorcycle, 20th century television). Really, all he wants is to write a thesis on the pop culture of the late 1900's.

3. Some of his fondest memories growing up were of learning to cook with his dad. He makes his daughter cook with him too, when she's old enough.

4. He loves to read old whodunits in his spare time, particularly the Cat Who books and a more modern author who writes about a Marsie street cop. He's solved every one except for a few Agatha Christies.

5. His descendants run half of Mars after a few generations, and they become almost as famous as the Medicis. While they were known for their charitable acts and keen business sense, you didn't want to get on their bad side. A mafia would have been kinder to you.

The Master

Sadly, you've probably heard most of these ones before due to the fact that we role play. Hopefully though, you've forgotten at least a couple of them! <3

1. He and the Doctor had a competition to see who could run away and steal a TARDIS first. The Master had a brilliant plan while the Doctor procrastinated. So the Doctor foiled the plan and let the Master get caught. He then took off while the Master was under house arrest and the Master has never quite forgiven him for this.

2. In all of his regenerations, he has to have a plushie of some sort in order to sleep, usually one that he has stolen. The trend started when he was three and he stole an older cousin's Rovie plushie and refused to give it back. He's also had a tiger, teddy bear, cat, fox, and companion cube plushies. Currently, he has a small white pegasus with brown wings. Lucy was sworn to secrecy after he learned the hard way that people made fun of him for it. (The Doctor was a bit of a gossip in some regenerations)

3. He has a secret fondness for chocolate covered strawberries in all of his regenerations. The best part is getting to watch the Doctor eat them.

4. After the events of Survival, the Master is very sensitive to being scratched behind the ears. The Doctor takes advantage of this in bed.

5. The Master is afraid of the dark, though he doesn't like to let on that he is.

You would pick two of the major characters I am least familiar with. XD I'll give them a shot anyway.

1. She totally turned the whole dorm blue once for scientific curiousity. The Master was not happy.

2. She helped the Master work on his T.C.E. so that he would leave her alone.

3. She occasionally gets the Master back for constantly annoying her about the Doctor by dragging him shopping. He has to carry all of her shopping bags or be turned into a science project.

4. In conjunction with the latter, she will occasionally buy him outfits too, if just because she doesn't like to be seen with him in his usual fashion. She has also made him cross-dress for kicks, and she was surprised that he didn't protest in the slightest. When she found out that he enjoyed it, she decided to never do it again.

5. She is allergic to pretzels. They found this out when the Doctor brought some back from a field trip to Earth and she was not happy. She gave him norpian space measles in retaliation and the Master ended up having to take care of both of them while they were sick.

3. There's a little Austin-Healey down the street that she has a crush on. The Doctor teases her about its size, but she knows he's just jealous that she likes someone other than him.

4. She has no problem breaking down and stranding the Doctor when he deserves it.

5. Yellow was her idea, since the TARDIS was blue. She wanted a special color too.

5. She does care about Amy, but simply isn't sure of what to do with her.

3. He has done business with the Psicorp, keeping track of their sleeper agents.

4. His favorite food is the 'aphrodisiac/floor wax' Mr. Garibaldi so frequently puzzled over. He's also developed a fondness for Earth cats.

5. He photoshops pictures of Mr. Garibaldi in his spare time for lols.

4. He has a pet mouse that he takes care of. It's his only friend. He named her Josephine, after the one person who was ever nice to him.

1. He was the one to make the first move in his relationship with Koschei. Koschei was too shy, and was a bit of a loner who just kept shooting Theta glances over his book. Then Theta plopped down beside him and introduced himself and the rest, as they say, is history.

2. He really likes getting new hats. He used to bring in hats from all over the universe and make Koschei wear them when he had extras.

3. His family isn't one that is very well off. He got through school mostly on his own brilliance and rose to prominence through scholarships. That didn't mean he got good grades though. He didn't take his courses seriously, and Koschei had to tutor him a lot.

4. He was terribly fond of Susan. Vicki helped a lot, but he often walked through the TARDIS calling for her and forgetting that she had left. Leaving her behind was one of the hardest things he had ever done.

5. Ian was the one who first introduced him to jelly-babies. He would remember the candies for a long time to come.

1. His epic bromance with Rassilon lasted even when Rassilon started becoming evil. He was in denial, right up to when the inquisitions and killing started.

2. He rather enjoyed his time as Fivey, and would have liked to remain blond longer.

3. In his world of anti-matter, he made little dolls of Rassilon and Vandekirian to rant at them, and snuggle with when he was lonely.

4. He hates the name Omega. Even when he turned it into a good thing, the fact he'd been named after a failing grade always burned.

5. He hates Beauty and the Beast, because he failed to love and be loved in return. Rassilon was a crappy Belle.

1. He was talking with Oscar one day, who was complaining about no one appreciating trash. Grover Doctor wanted to be friends, so he tried to appreciate trash too. He created the Sonic Marker out of Oscar's trash, and everyone was impressed. Everyone but Oscar, because it obviously wasn't trash any more.

2. Grover Doctor is very pleased that he and his TARDIS are matching colors. That way everyone can learn about the color blue.

3. Grover Doctor is sometimes very afraid of monsters, especially those at the end of the book. Then he remembers that he is the Doctor and has a sonic marker, and he can face the monsters and become friends with them.

4. The only monsters that Grover Doctor is not friends with are the Daleks, who are the biggest bullies on Sesame Street. They never learn from the moral of the day and Grover Doctor has to constantly save Cookie Pond, Brig Kermit, and Big Bird-9 from their bullying.
