Thanks! I kept her back story very general in my own mind, because I really think she works so well because she has issues, but they aren't the focus of the story. My own theory though is she had a baby (out of wedlock, or a divorce soon after) who died a few days after birth. Mainly because I have never seen anything so destroy a person as the death of a child does. But like I said, Lizzie hasn't quite revealed herself even to me, so your guess is as good as mine!
