So with Friday being the 49th anniversary of the first episode of Doctor Who, my mother and I have been watching one serial of each Doctor to celebrate.  Which does lead to some plot bunnies.

Barbara and Richard Mace plot bunnies therein. )

Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to.
Characters: Fifth Doctor, Peri, implied Fifth Doctor/Ainley Master
Warnings:Hm, not much for this fic.  Spoilers for Planet of Fire?
Rating: PG?
Notes: Written for the [info]best_enemies 100 drabble challenge.  Not sure how I like this one..

"Doctor, it's pouring out there!" )

Death

Nov. 16th, 2011 10:21 pm
So to celebrate a very kind rec on Calufrax, I decided to re-post my drabble challenge where I can find it again.

Death
By: Memory Dragon
Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to.
Characters: Theta, Koschei, Fifth Doctor, Ainley Master
Warnings: Fairly angsty with mentions of death.  Some references for Planet of Fire, but I'm pretty sure you can miss it if you're unfamiliar with the serial, so I wouldn't worry too much about spoilers.  Also, it is very unbetaed.
Rating: (I always forget this)  Um... PG-13 for tones of death?  No wonder I always forget these.  Maybe I should just stick with my warnings, since they're generally more descriptive...
Notes: Written for the [info]best_enemies 100 drabble challenge.  It is a very worthy quest and I may be writing another one if I've got time on Friday, but have my rehash of a deleted paragraph from Alone in the Dark in the mean time.

The Doctor almost couldn't remember a time when the Master wasn't afraid of death. )
Chocolate Cake Blues
By: Memory Dragon
Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to.
Summary: After leaving Tegan again, the Doctor sets off to collect his companions and tries to forget the whole thing ever happened. The TARDIS has a different idea.
Characters: Fifth Doctor, Evelyn Smythe, a bit of implied and one-sided Fifth Doctor/Tegan
Warnings: Spoilers for the BFA "The Gathering." Also, some not so great Five voice. Ah, well. I did try.
Notes: Oh, look! Many months after finishing this, I can finally post it. And yes, it really was just an excuse to have Five and Evelyn together. Because I think she would adore him.
Thanks: Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] nemaline, for correcting my horrible attempts at writing characters baking cakes. Hopefully, this is a bit more satisfactory.

The Doctor stared at the gleaming white console, lost in thought. )
It is finally at an end!

Mouse Trap
By: Memory Dragon
Disclaimer: I do not own Torchwood or Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to.  I also make no claim to the rovie and the character Erimem, who are both from the Big Finish audio plays.
Warnings: It's the end officially this time.  Hope you all enjoyed it!
Author's Thanks: Many thanks to Cy for sticking with me and betaing this to the end. Also, to everyone who has stuck through with this fic.  Which would be basically no one on livejournal, but hey.  I also haven't had anywhere to post it on lj.  Still, if I do have silent readers, many thanks!

Anyway, on to the epilogue!

Disclaimer: I do not own Torchwood or Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to.  I also make no claim to the rovie and the character Erimem, who are both from the Big Finish audio plays.
Warnings: It's almost ending...  But have a bit of Jack torment before we wave it off!
Notes: A day late, largely because I forgot to poke my beta and we both forgot.  But hey, I did remember it quite a bit earlier this time.  XD Also, the epilogue will be up in a few days.  It's short!
Author's Thanks: Many thanks to Cy for betaing this.

Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4 Chapter 5 Chapter 6

Every millisecond waiting for the Doctor was too long for Jack. )

Disclaimer: I do not own Torchwood or Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to. I also make no claim to the rovie and the character Erimem, who are both from the Big Finish audio plays.
Warnings: Some Jack torment this time! Just to be different. XD
Notes: Hey, sorry for this being a week late. My beta and I got in a huge fight that took a bit of resolving. Anyway, it's here now?
Author's Thanks: Many thanks to Cy for the beta!

Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4 Chapter 5

Ianto woke up to find he was in more pain than he could ever remember being in. )
It's All Been Done Before
By: Memory Dragon
Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to.
Characters: Simm Master/Shalka-Five (to borrow [livejournal.com profile] x_los 's name for him.  I do like that name, actually.)
Warnings:  Angst, a bit of silliness, and a lot more angst.
Original Prompt: Reverse Shalka! The Master has nothing better to do on time-locked Gallifrey, so he builds a robot Doctor.
Notes: Written for the [livejournal.com profile] best_enemies anon meme. Original can be found here.  Also, I've taken out a line at the end that set things up for Shalka-Five to come back.  Why?  Cause I tried.  I really did.  About five times, actually.  By the fifth when Five and Simm just weren't working with me, I decided to screw it and go on with writing other things.  Maybe I'll come back to it later and give Shalka-Five the ending he deserves.  Until then, he's toast.  XD  However, I did say that this fic is a prequel to another one I've written.  Simm Master obviously has stuff to do once he's out in the universe.  That fic will be up... sometime.  Whenever it gets its last bit beta'ed.  Direct all complaints at the long time for it coming to [livejournal.com profile] nemaline .  <3
Thanks:  Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] nemaline , who beta'ed this belatedly and points out when my logic fails.  Curse you, logic.  Still, I've fixed it now.  XD  Also, thanks to the dear anon who called me out on this fic and wrote the lovely prompt to begin with.  Yes, you know who you are.  ^_~

EDIT:  Also, look to the comments for some EXTREME ADORABLENESS by [livejournal.com profile] pride1289 .  Thank you so much for the art!

By the fifth time he'd watched Gallifrey burn, the Master found he was terribly bored. )
Confessions
By: Memory Dragon
Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to.
Characters: Fifth Doctor/Delgado Master
Warnings:  Just angst this time, really.  I suppose I should say something about the spoilers for Planet of Fire.  There are lots.
Original Prompt: Delgado!Master/Three. The priest outfit.
Notes: Written for the [livejournal.com profile] best_enemies anon meme. Also, it's Fivey instead of Three.  -_-;;;  I'm apparently terrible at actually following the prompt?  This one is so simple too.  Shouldn't have been all too hard, but nooooooooooooo, plot bunnies took my mind hostage until I worked for them and told me to write it as Five, who I have a lot harder time writing, than Three.  Where does that make sense?  Ah, well.  I tried.  Also, this makes yet another Delgado Master fic with other Doctors.  I think I've officially written one for all of the Doctors I've watched.  What can I say, I do like him.  XD  Well, I take that back.  I haven't done one for Four yet, and I think I've watched more than enough of him to attempt it, but... Meh.  Maybe eventually, but not now.  <3
Thanks: Many thanks to my beta, [livejournal.com profile] nemaline .

Even the celery pinned to his lapel looked exhausted, wilting under the constant barrage of water. )

Disclaimer: I do not own Torchwood or Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to. I also make no claim to the rovie and the character Erimem, who are both from the Big Finish audio plays.
Warnings: More cliff hangers and more Ianto torment. I apparently get off on all this. XD
Author's Thanks: Thanks once again to Cy for the timely beta.

Disclaimer: I do not own Torchwood or Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to. I also make no claim to the rovie and the character Erimem, who are both from the Big Finish audio plays.
Warnings: Cliff hangers! And more Ianto torment. Because I can.
Author's Thanks: A great many thanks to Cy, no matter how busy she is.
Notes: So... Sorry this is a bit late. Well, it's more than a bit late, actually, but you see... I kinda completely forgot about it? By the time I remembered, Cy was so bogged down with essays and school work that she didn't have time to beta.  I shall do my best to remember for the next chapter.

Anyway, on with Chapter Four!

Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3

Doujinshi

Doujinshi
By: Memory Dragon
Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to.
Characters: Fifth Doctor, Tegan, mentions of Third Doctor/Delgado Master and Ainley Master is there somewhere hanging about in disguise.  You know he would be.
Warnings:  I'm not apologizing for the silliness in this one.  It is very, very silly though.  As usual per my drabbles, it's unbetaed.
Notes: Written for the [livejournal.com profile] best_enemies drabble prompt, "Japan and/or Italy".
Author's thanks: Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] janeturenne, [livejournal.com profile] gehayi, [livejournal.com profile] psifi872, [livejournal.com profile] alex_e_smith, and everyone else in b_e for answering my question about Tegan, despite having nothing to do with the Doctor or Master.  <3

"They're just comic books, aren't they?" )
Freedom of Speech
By: Memory Dragon
Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to.
Characters: Tenth Doctor/Simm Master, Fifth Doctor/Ainley Master, Donna, Tegan, and Turlough
Warnings:  This is very, very silly.  I do mean that.  What possesses me to write these things, I'll never know...  Also, it's unbeta'ed.  Go easy on it?  -_-;;;   And it's slightly AU, mainly because it changes a few of Donna's reactions in the fourth series finale and because the Master isn't quite as dead as he would like the Doctor to believe.
Notes:  Written for the [livejournal.com profile] best_enemies ¡Viva la Revolución! Russian Hacker challenge.  It is utterly silly and has roughly the same concept as the awesome Sixth Doctor response written by [livejournal.com profile] tardiscrash (great minds think alike!), but hopefully is different enough to still be interesting.  It does also have a slightly different twist to it...  Anyway, enjoy!

UPDATE:  Now with awesome art from [info]pride1289 in the comments!!!

~

Everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression... except the Master. )
Here you go, Chapter Three!

Mouse Trap
By: Memory Dragon
Disclaimer: I do not own Torchwood or Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to. I also make no claim to the rovie and the character Erimem, who are both from the Big Finish audio plays.
Warnings: Lots more Ianto torment. That won't be letting up any time soon, just to let you know. Also, some Jack torture thrown in for good measure.
Author's Thanks: A great many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] nemaline , even though she does forget to beta sometimes. XD

Anyway, on with Chapter Three!

Chapter 1 Chatper 2

Ianto rubbed his eyes, trying to focus n the wires in front of him... )
Mouse Trap
By: Memory Dragon
Summary: Jack is acting strangely, leaving the rest of his team baffled by his odd mood.  But when it comes to light how much danger he's really in, it's up to Gwen and Ianto to save him... with the help of an odd stranger.
Disclaimer: I do not own Torchwood or Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to.
Warnings: Again, the bad guy here is stolen from a Big Finish audio play, which you don't need to have heard to understand, but it's not mine either.  Also, more Ianto angst, cause I like making him suffer.
Author's Thanks: Many thanks once again to [livejournal.com profile] nemaline for betaing for me.  She made this ten times better.

Chapter 1

"I assure you that this is entirely unnecessary..." )
So look!  I finally managed an actual drabble-length drabble!  And it's not the greatest, because Five and Ainley Master were all like... No!  We're not going to work with Memory!   Well, fine then.  See if I care.  I'll just stick with Three and Delgado Master since they like me more...  T_T

Anyway, it's short.  Enjoy it for what it's worth.

EDIT: Now with a second drabble-length drabble!  I think I'm getting the hang of these...

America's Favorite Pastime and Practice Makes Perfect
By: Memory Dragon
Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to.
Characters: Fifth Doctor/Ainley Master for the first one, Jo and the Third Doctor for the second.
Warnings: The first one's not that great?  I tried.  -_-;;;
Notes: America's Favorite Pastime was written for the [livejournal.com profile] best_enemies drabble prompt, "Russia and/or America" using the latter prompt.  Why?  Cause I like baseball.  <3  At least it wasn't American football, Doctor?  Practice Makes Perfect was written for the drabble prompt "Spain and/or China" for the same com.  Because I could.

The Master was trying, really he was. )

Warnings: A bit of Ianto/Jack slash, but you'd get that by watching the series anyway.  No sex.  Also, there are a good many references to the Torchwood books (Most of them from Almost Perfect), but you don't need to have read the novels to get this.  Just know that Ianto was turned into a girl for a good majority for that book and lots of awkwardness ensued.  This is a cross over with classic Doctor Who, most specifically the Big Finish audio plays.  Again, you really don't need to have listened to them to understand what's going on, but I did steal the bad guy from one of the audios.  I suppose I should mention there is a heck of a lot of Ianto torture in later parts, but that should probably have been a given...
Author's Thanks: Many thanks once again to [livejournal.com profile] nemaline for betaing for me.  I don't know what I'd do without her.  <3

Gwen Cooper really hadn't meant to be late that morning. )
This was a drabble written for the weekly drabble challenge over at [livejournal.com profile] best_enemies .  As it is over five hundred words, it rather failed as a drabble, but hey... No one's really counting, right?  Anyway, the two words were 'Chess' and 'Jedi' and, well, I had to make the obvious joke with it...

"Let the wookie win..." )

White Day

Feb. 23rd, 2011 06:20 pm

I can't believe I'm actually admitting to writing this, but there it is... This was originally written for the Best Enemies Anonymous Kink Meme and I had every intention of keeping this anonymous, but it grew on me, I suppose. Anyway, here it is, in all of its crack-tastic glory. Heaven save you for reading it...

Also a few cultural notes, since I'm not going to assume everyone who is a Doctor Who fan is a fan of anime. You can skip over this if you are, since it'll probably be nothing new to you. There are a few cultural differences I should mention. In Japan and most Asian countries, Valentine's Day is not the big date night, lovey-dovey occasion it is here. That's actually reserved for Christmas. On Valentine's day, the girls make chocolate for the guys. That stated, there are three different 'kinds' of chocolates that girls give. Giri-choko, or obligation chocolate, is given to co-workers or classmates that you either don't like or feel like you have an obligation to give chocolate to. This is usually store bought, without a lot of thought put in. Honmei-choko (favorite chocolate) is homemade chocolate with a lot of effort put in, usually reserved for the 'special' guy. Finally, tomo-choko, or friend chocolate, is chocolate that girls give to their other girl friends.

Once the guys have received their chocolates, they have a month until "White Day" to get a reply gift. Men are expected to get return gifts that are twice or even three times more expensive, and some traditional White Day gifts are marshmallows, white chocolate, jewelery, or white lingerie. XD

One final note... I'd just like to say for my sanity that this really isn't me. I hate Valentine's Day, I usually dislike crack and the one person who read it before I posted called it 'absolutely adorable' (also not me). It doesn't even sound remotely like me.

White Day
By: Memory Dragon
Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to.
Warnings: There's a tentacle monster, but other than that just a heck of a lot of crack and warm fuzzies that I'm rather ashamed of. Also, I suppose you could say there's a bit of slash to it, but I maintain it's a fairly innocent exchange of friend/enemy-ship. So look for slash if you want it, if not, take it for what it is. And for a prompt from a kink meme, it's also very much without any sex, so don't fear about the prompt. It is, as I stated, rather innocent.
Orginal Prompt: How do the Master and the Doctor celebrate Valentine's Day? Hearts and flowers? Galactic Empires and blasters? Handcuffs and dildos?
Author's Thanks: Many thanks (and curses) to Cyropi for not only setting up my downfall into writing this, but insisting I write it as well. Not to mention betaing it and making it a thousand times better. Thanks and curses go to the writer of the prompt for giving me the rabid plot bunny in the first place.

The Master wasn't exactly pleased... )
